A ‘Kids-Say-the-Most-Disturbing-Things’ Moment

September 16, 2011

Proverbs 22:6 says, “Train up a child in the way he should go; and when he is old he will not depart from it.”  For many parents, this is our hope: the lessons we teach our children will return to them, and help them, later in life.

Well, one Islamist is doing all he can to turn his son into a jihadi.  MEMRI has provided a translated transcript of a television interview with a young poet, who has some disturbing things to say in his poetry about the Jews and Israel.  Here are a few excerpt from a poem he wrote in the 3rd grade:

“Oh my beloved Jerusalem, which is in Palestine –

You will continue to belong to the Muslims.

“If we unite, we will regain you,

Just like Saladin.

Saladin, of course, was responsible for driving out the Crusaders, finally, and taking Jerusalem for the muslim.  So we have a 3rd grader advocating violent massacre.

“Oh Jerusalem, oh Jerusalem,

Your name is in the hearts of millions.

“We will take you from the accursed Jews,

Who killed and massacred many people,

Many poor children, women, and the elderly,

And before them, they killed the prophets and messengers.

And a 3rd grader reflecting virulent anti-semitism.

The capper to this disturbing transcript is the reponse of the commentator:

Interviewer: “Well done, Muhammad. That was beautiful. ” […]

Train up a child in the way that he should go…

Way to go, Muslims. Keep teaching those children how to hate and forsake any connection to the sacred and the humane. #the slipperyslopetosavagery
